December 2023 News

The big news for this month is that the new Jeanneau Yachts 55 was not only voted best in her category at the annual Cruising World Boat of the Year awards, but it was also the Overall Winner!

It is not hard to see why when you have a good look at this award winning yacht, and the best way to do that before our first one arrives in April next year, is to check out this detailed boat tour video with John and Kristina on YouTube.

After a crazy last few years of used yacht sales, inventory and enquries have been very low in 2023, however we are still selling a couple of yachts each month to buyers keen to get back out on the water, including the glamourous 2011 Jeanneau 53 along with the regatta winning 2010 Achambault 31 that was sold last month. So if you are thinking of selling at the end of the summer, please let us know now as we always have buyers that don’t mind waiting for the right boat.

But if you have a boat already and are looking for a bit more of a challenge at the 2024 Festival of Sails in Geelong this January, we are sponsoring the Double-Handed division again, but this time we are planning to have a separate start line and berthing area for all double hander entries. We hope this will encourage a few more entires, however we are open to other ideas if you have some.
