See the latest Trade-A-Boat magazine issue 455 for an extensive 8-page review of the new Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 carried out in Cannes by Australian sailing journalist Kevin Green, who had this to say about this European Yacht of the Year nominee.
“The French builder knew it had to innovate to stand out and that’s just what it’s done with this 33-footer. Notable features include a deep cockpit with twin rudders, innovative sail-handling and thanks to being part of the world’s largest yacht builder, sharp pricing.”
“These features should give this entry level cruiser wide appeal – from the sailor contemplating their first keel boat to the experienced yachtsman downsizing.” And “The plumb bow, beamy hull with squared transom and spacious cockpit confirm the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 to be the epitome of the modern cruiser, but there’s plenty of unique subtleties once you look closer.”

There are now four Jeanneau 349’s that have shipped or are currently being shipped to Australia, including one stock boat available to purchase on its way to Melbourne.
Contact Rohan Veal on 0414 538 959 for a list of the options fitted to the boat, or to book in a time for an inspection on arrival in early October, as we don’t expect this boat to be for sale for very long considering this is the only 349 available in Victoria or South Australia for a pre-Christmas delivery!
