Happy New Financial Year!
Whilst new yacht sales over the last 12 months have been lower from the previous year, there is some big news from Jeanneau this month that could change all that, as they have just announced the first release of the 9th generation from the Sun Odyssey range.
The Sun Odyssey 415 is an update to the successful Sun Odyssey 410 hull shaper, however with a completely new transom so that the back stays are further away from the helm stations and provide more space in the walk around side decks.
The interior is completely new, but has also been design and made with a more simplistic approach, and consequently for the first time ever, the new retail price of a new model is lower than the previous model!
There are also a number of other changes that have been made that has made the new Sun Odyssey 415 not only the most affordable, but also one of the lightest and fastest 40′ production cruising yachts on the market. Check out the special introductory price to see yourself…
Currently I am in France where I visited the Excess factory to check out the new Excess 13 last week, then went for a test sail on the Excess 11 and 14. Consequently, we have just confirmed an order and the options for an Excess 13 that will be completed late 2025 and shipped to Brisbane for commissioning. It is intended for the boat to then be sold into 10 shares as part of the YachtShare fleet at RQYS. Check it out here…
