Jeanneau have dropped a bomb this week with the release of the all new Sun Odyssey 455!
Not only is it is big change from the popular Sun Odyssey 440 and 490, but Jeanneau have also put a lot of time and effort into reducing the production costs whilst still maintaining the elegant lines that Jeanneau is reknowned for. In other big news, some of you know that I moved to up Brisbane a few years ago where I have been focusing on catamaran racing and sales, and then earlier in the year was appointed the exclusive importer for Excess Catamarans in Queensland and Victoria.
As I rarely get the opportunity to travel down to Melbourne anymore, I have decided to sell the 38 South Yacht Sales business if we can find the right person to take over the exclusive promotion and sales of Jeanneau sailboats in Victoria and South Australia.
It is my expectation to continue on as the importer for Excess Catamarans and the Australian agent for Windelo Catamarans for many years to come, however it would be ideal if the new operator of 38 South Yacht Sales is not only a local Port Phillip Bay sailor, but would also promote Excess Catamarans locally in the southern states as a sub dealer, as I know there are many sailors down south interested in buying an Excess Catamaran for delivery in France or even Queensland over the next few years.
Not only have I been told that is this the dream lifestyle job that many boat owners aspire to, but all sailing expenses are also business expenses!
