October 2022 News

The Melbourne Boat Show is finally back on and starting at 3pm this Thursday, but this time it will be free entry at the Melbourne Docklands, and one person will have a chance to win a $200,000 gift voucher to spend with any dealer at the boat show!

In conjunction with 38 South Yacht Sales and Premier Yachting, we will be displaying a Sun Odyssey 389 and a Sun Odyssey 349. Both boats will be for sale too, so come down and have a look.

If you miss out on these, we have been able to secure a few more Sun Odyssey yachts for delivery ex-factory in July/August 2023, including:

And if you haven’t seen it yet, check out the all new Jeanneau Yachts 55. It has a completely private owner’s cabin/saloon area, private aft cabins access via the cockpit, along with the navigation table under the spray dodger and helm stations forward of the massive cockpit lounge area. It all makes sense, especially when you see all the cockpit awning options available. More information and pricing to be released soon with hull #1 on display at the Dusseldorf boat show early 2023.

Also, due to some great results of the Sun Fast 3300 recently including the Tollgate Islands race in NSW over the weekend, a number of 3300’s around the country have been sold in the last few weeks, but we still have a 2020 model for sale at SYC if anyone is keen.

Finally, we have just scheduled the 2022 Victorian Jeanneau Cup to run from Sandringham Yacht Club on Sunday morning on the 11th December. Most likely it will be an all-in tower start but with three fixed mark courses depending on if you want to use more than two sails and how big/fast your boat is. If you are interested in participating with your Jeanneau Yacht, Sun Odyssey or Sun Fast, please let me know and I will send you more details soon.
