September 2022 News

First up, I am happy to announce that we have been appointed the Australian and New Zealand agent for the new Windelo Sailing Eco-Catamarans made in the south of France. I first heard about them at the 2019 Cannes Boat Show, and loved their approach to finding more eco-friendly ways to building boats. If you would like more infomation or would like to arrange an inspection, please let me know.

Moving back down south, it has been a fairly quiet and cold winter in Melbourne for sailing and yacht deliveries, however we are quickly warming up for six new yachts arriving over the summer, including 1 x Sun Odyssey 440, 2 x Sun Odyssey 410‘s, 2 x Sun Odyssey 349‘s (12 in total now) and our first Sun Odyssey 380, all being commissioned at SYC.

If you missed out on any of these, we have been able to secure a few more Sun Odyssey yachts for delivery ex-factory in July/August 2023, including:

We also recently sold our 7th x Sun Fast 3300 without even advertising, but not without being campaigned by Lee Condell at Performance Boating in the double-handed division of the 2022 Sydney to Hobart along with a few other 3300 owners. After the race, the boat will be collected by its new owner and bought back to Sandringham for local racing in early in 2023. If you missed out on this one, we have just listed a 2020 Sun Fast 3300 for sale also at SYC.

In other yacht brokerage news, this area is still very strong for us with most cruising yachts (especially near new yachts) getting snapped up in days from the first date of advertisement. Check out some of our listings below…

Finally, we will be exhibiting at the 2022 Melbourne Boat Show from 20-23 October at the Melbourne Docklands. It is free entry, so come and check it out, as we are aiming to display a ‘like new’ 2021 Sun Odyssey 389 that we will be advertising for sale soon and hopefully at 2021 Sun Odyssey 349 also.
